About The Position

Carvana is hiring for entry-level automotive roles at its Inspection Center in Fairburn, Georgia. Available positions include Detailer, Lot Attendant, Photobooth Associate, and Inspection Associate. Detailers wash vehicles, clean interiors, and buff exteriors. Lot Attendants move vehicles between departments in the Inspection Center. Photobooth Associates photograph vehicles for customer viewing, and Inspection Associates inspect vehicle interiors and exteriors to identify imperfections or defects. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour. The listed first shift runs Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. All locations may require mandatory overtime based on business needs. Employees receive training programs intended to help their skills and pay progress. The Inspection Center is located at 5055 Oakley Industrial Blvd, Fairburn, GA 30213. The work takes place in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to heat or cold. Employees may use safety equipment such as face shields or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and other protective garments and equipment. Applicants must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check; some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Pass a complete background check; some positions may also be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.

Responsibilities

Detail vehicles, including washing, interior cleaning, and exterior buffing.
Move vehicles from one department to another within the Inspection Center.
Photograph vehicles so customers can view them.
Inspect vehicle interiors and exteriors and accurately identify imperfections or defects.
Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
