About The Position

Irwin Lincoln Mazda, a family-owned and operated dealership serving our community since 1960, is seeking a creative, driven, and results-oriented Business Development / Social Media Specialist to join our team. This role blends customer engagement, lead development, and social media strategy to support both Sales and Service growth while strengthening our online presence. Position Overview The Business Development / Social Media Specialist will manage inbound and outbound customer communication while creating engaging social media content that reflects the Irwin Lincoln Mazda brand. This individual will play a key role in lead follow-up, appointment setting, customer retention, and online engagement.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in automotive BDC, customer service, or social media marketing preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking with customers via phone, text, and digital platforms
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environment
  • Experience with CRM systems and social media platforms
  • Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Basic photo/video capture and editing skills a plus

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound leads via phone, email, text, and online platforms
  • Schedule sales and service appointments and confirm appointments
  • Follow up with prospects, service clients, and lost opportunities
  • Support customer retention and reactivation campaigns
  • Maintain accurate customer records and notes in the CRM
  • Work closely with Sales and Service teams to maximize show and close rates
  • Create, post, and manage content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
  • Capture photos and short-form videos of vehicles, staff, and dealership events
  • Monitor and respond to online comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner
  • Assist with promotions, events, and special campaigns
  • Ensure brand consistency and professionalism across all platforms
  • Track engagement, lead activity, and campaign performance
