About The Position

Kunes Auto Group is seeking a skilled, customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to serve as the link between customers and the service department. The advisor assesses vehicle service needs, prepares repair orders, coordinates with technicians, and keeps customers informed so vehicles receive appropriate care and customers have a positive service experience. The role also includes scheduling appointments, recommending maintenance and repairs, and supporting quality control and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

At least 1 year of Service Advising experience in a dealership or service center.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to learn required software systems.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.

Responsibilities

Greet customers, assess vehicle concerns, and record service needs.
Recommend maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer specifications and vehicle history.
Prepare detailed repair orders, including labor and parts estimates, for customer approval.
Communicate inspection results and recommend necessary corrective actions.
Update customers on repair progress, explain costs, and obtain authorization for additional work.
Advise customers on vehicle care, preventative maintenance, and available services.
Schedule service appointments.
Address customer concerns promptly and maintain high customer satisfaction standards.
Coordinate with technicians to ensure vehicles are serviced within the promised timeframe.
Implement quality control processes to minimize errors and support customer satisfaction.
