About The Position

The Auto Care Advisor works in a fast-paced environment, assisting customers, solving problems, and recommending appropriate automotive products and services while managing multiple priorities. The role is open to candidates who are new to automotive as well as experienced professionals, with opportunities to build knowledge, sharpen skills, and grow a career.

The advisor engages customers to understand their automotive needs, provides guidance, schedules service appointments, prepares estimates, and explains recommended services, costs, and payment options. The role also promotes and sells tires, parts, accessories, and automotive services, maintains knowledge of automotive products and basic maintenance, and supports Auto Care Center events, promotions, loyalty programs, and other Fleet Farm initiatives. Services must be completed accurately and to a high standard.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• At least 16 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience in a customer-focused role.

• Previous experience in an auto service or mechanical setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service appointments and prepare estimates.
• Clearly explain recommended services, costs, and payment options.
• Promote and sell tires, parts, accessories, and automotive services based on customer needs.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive products, services, and basic maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, and battery installation.
• Support Auto Care Center events, promotions, loyalty programs, and other Fleet Farm initiatives.
• Ensure services are completed accurately and to a high standard.
