About The Position

The Auto Service Advisor helps customers identify automotive needs, provides guidance, and recommends appropriate products and services. The role works in a fast-paced environment and includes scheduling appointments, preparing estimates, explaining service recommendations and payment options, and promoting automotive products and services. The advisor maintains knowledge of automotive products, services, and basic maintenance, and supports Auto Care Center events, promotions, loyalty programs, and other Fleet Farm initiatives while helping ensure work is completed accurately and to a high standard.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience in a customer-focused role.

• Previous experience in an auto service or mechanical setting.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to understand their automotive needs and recommend suitable products and services.
• Schedule service appointments and prepare estimates.
• Explain recommended services, costs, and payment options clearly.
• Promote and sell tires, parts, accessories, and automotive services based on customer needs.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive products, services, and basic maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, and battery installation.
• Support Auto Care Center events, promotions, loyalty programs, and other Fleet Farm initiatives.
• Help ensure services are completed accurately and to a high standard.
