About The Position

Carvana is hiring an entry-level Auto Painter to work in a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center. The role involves priming vehicles and performing final sanding before painting, as well as buffing, touch-up work, paint mixing, and airbrushing. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees to support skill and pay progression. The position requires at least one year of professional automotive painting experience. Applicants must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, and pass a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license; some positions may require an MVR check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Passing a complete background check.

Responsibilities

• Prime vehicles and perform final sanding before painting.
• Perform buffing and touch-up work.
• Mix paint and perform airbrush work.
• Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
