About The Position

Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring an experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician for its Miami Gardens, Florida area team. This is a full-time role with a five-day work week. The technician maintains and repairs customer vehicles, diagnoses mechanical problems, explains repair options clearly, and completes repairs agreed upon with customers. The role also performs regular vehicle maintenance and helps deliver fast, friendly, clean, and professional customer service. Compensation is an hourly rate of $18–$24, depending on experience and certifications, rather than flat-rate pay. Technicians also earn commissions paid every two weeks, ranging from $400 to $1,400 based on store-level automotive repair net sales. Hourly pay and commissions may lead to annual compensation above $100,000. Employees can earn one-time $500 bonuses for certifications earned while working for the company.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Hold current AATI or ASE certifications.
Have a valid driver's license.
Have brake work experience.
Provide your own tools.
Be honest and reliable, able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, service-oriented, attentive to detail, comfortable troubleshooting, and able to explain technical information in layman's terms.
