About The Position
Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring an experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician for a full-time position in the Hallandale, Florida area. The role offers a five-day work week and hourly pay of $18 to $24, depending on experience and certifications. Technicians also earn commissions every two weeks based on store-level automotive repair net sales, typically ranging from $400 to $1,400. Hourly pay and commissions may lead to annual compensation above $100,000. Employees can earn one-time $500 bonuses for certifications earned while employed by the company. The technician maintains and repairs customer vehicles, diagnoses mechanical problems, explains repair options clearly, and completes agreed-upon repairs. The role also includes routine vehicle maintenance and providing fast, friendly, professional customer service. Atlantic Coast Enterprises is a full-service lubrication, fluid, and automotive maintenance center and a Jiffy Lube franchisee. Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Current AATI or ASE certifications.
- Valid driver's license.
- Brake work experience.
- Must have own tools.
- Honesty and reliability.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Service-oriented approach and attention to detail.
- Enjoy troubleshooting.
- Ability to explain technical information in layman's terms.
Responsibilities
