About The Position

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is hiring an Auto Maintenance Technician II to help keep vehicles running smoothly. The role performs preventive maintenance and, depending on certification level, various vehicle repairs and maintenance. The technician creates and maintains vehicle and maintenance histories, fits vehicles with necessary equipment, and follows all safety procedures. The position is based at a specified Cox location and has no remote-work option. The shift is day shift, with flexible work schedules and overtime opportunities. Compensation is $22.02–$33.08 per hour; the rate within that range may vary based on location and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. The position may also be eligible for additional commission or incentive compensation. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is advertised, but internal candidates are not eligible. Employment is contingent on clearing a pre-employment drug test. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of vehicle service and repair experience.
Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Continued training to maintain current A.S.E. status and keep up with technology and fleet changes.
A.S.E. Automotive or Truck Certification, or other related certifications.
