About The Position

Cox Automotive’s Manheim is seeking an Auto Maintenance Technician II to help keep vehicles running smoothly. The position performs preventive maintenance and, depending on certification level, repairs and other maintenance. The technician maintains vehicle and maintenance histories, fits vehicles with necessary equipment, and follows all safety procedures. This is an onsite role at a specified Cox location with no travel. The work shift is day shift. The hourly base pay range is $22.02–$33.08; pay may vary based on location and the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. The role may also be eligible for commission or an incentive program. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is advertised, but internal candidates are not eligible. Employment is contingent on clearing a pre-employment drug test. The role requires authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of vehicle service and repair experience.
Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Continued training to maintain current A.S.E. status and keep up with technology and fleet changes.
A.S.E. Automotive or Truck Certification, or other related certifications.
