About The Position

Glass Doctor is hiring an Auto Glass Technician to provide auto glass installation and related services for individual and fleet customers. The technician delivers high-quality customer service, helps customers understand the services needed, and ensures vehicles are safe and left in good condition. The company provides training, tools, and processes to support success, along with opportunities to grow skills and income. The schedule is arranged by the company, and technicians are expected to complete scheduled jobs on time.

Requirements

• At least one year of auto glass installation experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of basic trade tools.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to be insured to drive a company vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Comfort using mobile technology and digital software.
• Prior job experience must be verifiable through reference checks.
• Strong customer service, attention to detail, mechanical ability, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Flat laminated glass cutting experience.

Responsibilities

• Install auto glass products on domestic and foreign vehicles.
• Complete calibrations on vehicles with ADAS safety systems.
• Repair rock chips.
• Perform other auto glass-related work.
• Explain service needs and put customers at ease.
• Collect payment from customers for completed work.
• Complete scheduled jobs on time and leave vehicles clean and undamaged.
• Make recommendations to customers about current and future needs.
