About The Position
National General is a part of The Allstate Corporation, offering a wide range of insurance products. This role involves inspecting vehicles, evaluating losses, and preparing estimates for auto or specialty lines claims. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CCC ONE estimating software, possess strong negotiation and time management skills, and have a customer-focused approach. This is a territory-based, field position supporting Robeson, Columbus, and Bladen Counties in North Carolina, requiring candidates to reside within 30 miles of these counties. The role also supports team success through collaboration, flexibility, training, mentoring, quality control, and technical guidance. An active adjuster's license is preferred, with a willingness to obtain one shortly after hire if not currently held.

Responsibilities
- Applies thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
- Builds established relationships with both internal and external customers
- Exhibits proficient estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses
- Processes a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
- Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within escalated authority limits
