About The Position

GEICO is seeking an experienced Auto Damage Adjuster to handle auto damage claims in the South San Francisco, California territory. The role requires at least 12 months of auto damage experience and a record of delivering excellent customer service while settling claims promptly and accurately. The adjuster should be able to handle complex claims using technical and industry knowledge. This is not a remote role. The position may involve field, in-office, or remote work, and requires flexibility with the primary work location. Starting pay varies by position and location. The stated annual salary range is $36.63–$57.49; the final offered rate depends on factors including the role’s scope, experience, education and training, location, and market and business considerations. Requirements

At least 12 months of auto damage experience.
Motor Vehicle Damage Adjuster/Appraiser's License.
Valid driver’s license; must meet company underwriting guidelines.
Ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits.
Willingness to be flexible with the primary work location; work may be remote, in the field, or in-office.
Solid computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and multitasking skills.
Attention to detail and effective decision-making skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, and willingness to expand these abilities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
