Auto Claims Adjuster Trainee
About The Position
First Chicago Insurance Company is hiring a full-time Auto Claims Adjuster Trainee for recent and upcoming college graduates interested in starting a career in insurance. The role includes a structured training program and hands-on, in-office training, with opportunities to shadow experienced professionals and gradually take on additional responsibilities. Trainees handle incoming claims by investigating claim details, corresponding with customers, and evaluating damages while maintaining a customer-first approach. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday. The estimated compensation range is $20–$30 per hour; actual compensation depends on experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location.
Requirements
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients.
- Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
- Previous customer service experience.

- Familiarity with software tools used for claims processing and claims data management.
Responsibilities
