Auto Body Technician Helper
About The Position
Crash Champions is hiring an Auto Body Technician Helper to assist with collision repair work. The role supports a lead body technician with vehicle tear-down, removal and evaluation of damaged components, installation of new parts, organization of parts for repair orders, and light body work. The position requires full-time availability for 40 hours per week. Compensation is based on a commission/flag-rate structure, with flag pay guaranteed to meet local minimum-wage requirements for all hours worked each week. The posted compensation range represents average flag pay for a typical full-time employee in this position.
Requirements
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods and regularly position or move oneself to repair vehicles over and under them.
- Ability to communicate effectively and take direction from superiors.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead body technician with 100% tear-down.
- Remove damaged components and assist in evaluating damage.
- Assist with installing new parts.
