Auto Body Technician Helper
About The Position
The Auto Body Technician Helper assists a lead body technician with vehicle tear-down and collision repair tasks. The role includes removing damaged components, helping evaluate damage, installing new parts, organizing parts for repair orders, and assisting with light body work. This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week. Pay is based on a commission/flag-rate structure, with flag pay guaranteed to meet local minimum wage requirements for all hours worked each week. The posted compensation range represents average flag pay for a typical full-time employee and is $40,000–$99,800 per year.
Requirements
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours a week.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods and regularly position or move oneself to repair vehicles over and under them.
- Ability to communicate effectively and take direction from superiors.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
