About The Position
The Auto Body Technician Helper assists the lead body technician with collision repair work, including complete tear-downs, removing damaged components, evaluating damage, installing new parts, organizing parts for repair orders, and performing light body work. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. The role is paid on a commission/flag-rate structure, with flag pay guaranteed to meet local minimum-wage requirements for all hours worked each week. The posted compensation range represents average flag pay for a typical full-time employee.
Requirements
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours a week.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods and regularly position or move oneself to repair vehicles over and under them.
- Ability to communicate effectively and take direction from superiors.

- High school diploma or GED preferred.
