About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Auto Body Tech to perform professional bodywork on multiple vehicle panels at one of its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The work includes heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The position is part of Carvana’s vehicle reconditioning process, in which vehicles are inspected, repaired, and prepared before being photographed and listed on the Carvana website.

The role is in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to hot or cold weather. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, and hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
