About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Auto Body Prepper to perform light bodywork on vehicles at its high-tech Inspection Centers. The work includes preparing, sanding, and buffing vehicles; removing and installing bumpers; minor plastic welding; and small-area bodywork, including Bondo repair. Training programs are available for entry-level employees so their skills and pay can progress with the company.

The position is based at 15511 E 155th St, Belton, MO 64012. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with overtime opportunities. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
