Auto Body Combo Tech (2nd Shift) - $8,000 Bonus
About The Position
Carvana is hiring an experienced auto body technician to perform extensive bodywork on multiple vehicle panels and train other autobody technicians. Work includes heavy plastic welding and stapling; heavy metal pulling, straightening, shrinking, and stud welding; roof and rocker panel repair; and large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The role is based in a high-tech Inspection Center and uses state-of-the-art tools. The position works Monday through Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., with overtime on Fridays. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Pay is $33–$41 per hour, and the position includes an $8,000 bonus. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to heat or cold.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must pass a complete background check.
