About The Position

Carvana is seeking an Auto Body Repair Technician to perform light automotive bodywork at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. Work includes prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles; removing and installing bumpers; minor plastic welding; and small-area bodywork, including Bondo repair. Entry-level hires may receive training to support the development of their skills and pay. The role is part of Carvana’s vehicle reconditioning process, preparing inspected vehicles for customers. The position requires at least one year of professional automotive bodywork experience. Employees may be required to work mandatory overtime based on business needs. The work takes place in a fast-paced production environment and may involve exposure to excessive heat or cold. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
