About The Position

Carvana is hiring an experienced automotive bodywork technician to perform extensive repairs across multiple vehicle panels at a high-tech Inspection Center. The role also includes training other autobody technicians. Work includes heavy plastic welding and stapling; heavy metal pulling, straightening, shrinking, and stud welding; roof and rocker panel repair; and large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The posting describes the position as a second-shift role and advertises an $8,000 bonus. The work takes place in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to heat or cold. Employees use safety equipment and protective garments. Applicants must be at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license, be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, and pass a background check. Some positions may require an MVR check. Requirements

At least 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment and protective garments.
Pass a complete background check; some positions may be subject to an MVR check.
