About The Position

CLA is seeking an Audit Director or Audit Manager to join its State and Local Government (SLG) practice in a Mid-West office. The SLG group consists of 600 professionals serving more than 2,100 local, county, and state government agencies. In this role, you will manage client relationships, help clients obtain funding and meet audit and financial planning objectives, and lead engagement teams. You will monitor engagement budgets and deadlines and communicate developments, conclusions, and recommendations to the engagement principal.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm, driving strategic management.
• CPA license certification is required.
