About The Position

CLA is seeking an Audit Director or Audit Manager to join its State and Local Government (SLG) practice in its Northeast offices. The SLG group serves local, county, and state government agencies and includes 600 professionals. In this role, you will manage client relationships, help clients obtain funding and meet audit and financial planning objectives, develop and mentor staff, oversee client engagement teams, and guide engagements to meet time budgets and deadlines. You will communicate significant developments, facts, conclusions, and recommendations to the engagement principal.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of public accounting experience, with an emphasis on financial statement preparation and audits.
• CPA license certification is required.
