About The Position

They are seeking an Audit Senior to join their State and Local Government (SLG) practice in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The SLG group is a rapidly growing area within CLA, serving over 2100 local, county, and state government agencies with 600 professionals. This role offers the chance to plan, lead, and execute assurance engagements, work closely with clients, audit complex areas, research accounting and auditing issues, and train team members.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
2 years of relevant audit experience required.

Nice To Haves

SLG industry experience is a plus.
CPA or eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred

Responsibilities

Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
Working closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
Audit complex areas/transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.
Research, analyze, and report on accounting, auditing, and related issues and developments.
Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
Collaborate with managers/principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
Get the opportunity to work with many great clients.
Develop and maintain effective client relationships.
