Audiologist / Hearing Instrument Specialist - Silverdale, WA
About The Position
AudioNova is seeking an Audiologist, licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist, or Audiology Extern to provide patient-centered hearing care at its Silverdale, Washington clinic. The role involves assessing patients’ hearing, recommending treatment and products, educating patients about hearing aids and hearing technology, and supporting clinic operations. AudioNova describes its environment as supportive and dynamic, with training, mentorship, and career pathways. The position is based at 10513 Silverdale Way, Suite 109, Silverdale, WA 98383. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Salary is $100,000–$110,000 plus commission.
Requirements
- Hold a Hearing Aid Dispensing License in Washington State.
Nice To Haves
- Doctorate in Audiology preferred.
- Third- and fourth-year Audiology Externs are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient hearing-test assessments, analyze results, and recommend treatment and product options.
- Address patients’ questions and concerns about the benefits of hearing-aid use.
- Discuss hearing-instrument pricing and explain the value of hearing healthcare, services, and long-term hearing-aid use.
- Conduct community outreach to generate new patient referrals.
- Teach patients how to use new technology to meet their hearing goals.
- Perform hearing-aid repairs, checks, and cleanings.
- Adjust fitted products and follow company quality standards and guidelines to maximize product performance and address patient concerns or objections.
- Work with clinic staff to help ensure smooth office operations.
