About The Position
AudioNova is seeking an Audiologist, licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist, or Audiology extern to provide patient-centered hearing care at its Silverdale, Washington clinic. The role involves assessing patients’ hearing, recommending treatment and product options, supporting patients in using hearing technology, and helping maintain smooth clinic operations. Compensation is $100,000–$110,000 plus commission. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Requirements
- Hearing Aid Dispensing License in the state of Washington.
Nice To Haves
- Doctorate in Audiology preferred.
- Third- and fourth-year Audiology externs are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient hearing test assessments, analyze results, and recommend treatment and product options.
- Address patients’ questions and concerns about the benefits of hearing aid use.
- Discuss hearing instrument pricing and explain the value of hearing health care, the services provided, and the long-term effects of hearing aid use.
- Conduct community outreach to generate new patient referrals.
- Teach patients how to use new technology to meet their hearing goals.
- Perform hearing aid repairs, checks, cleanings, and adjustments to fitted products.
- Follow company procedural quality standards and guidelines to maximize product performance and address patient concerns or objections.
- Work with clinic staff to ensure smooth office operations.
