About The Position
NationsBenefits is a healthcare fintech provider of supplemental benefits, flex cards, and member engagement solutions. It partners with managed care organizations to deliver healthcare solutions and serves health plan members through supplemental benefits, payment platforms, and engagement services. The Hearing Instrument Specialist/Audiologist evaluates patients for hearing aid candidacy, recommends and fits hearing aids, and builds patient relationships through education, follow-up care, and community engagement. The role is based in a retail clinical environment, with professional autonomy and operational support. The position is at the Nations Benefits Hearing Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Requirements
- Current Audiology license or Hearing Aid Dispensing license in the state of the role.
- Strong clinical, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, patient-friendly manner.
- Comfort working in a retail healthcare setting.
- Commitment to ethical practice and patient-focused care.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations using best-practice clinical protocols.
- Interpret test results and recommend individualized hearing care solutions based on patient needs and lifestyle.
- Present product options clearly, emphasizing value, long-term benefits, and patient outcomes.
- Program, fit, and verify hearing instruments, including premium technology from major manufacturers.
- Perform routine follow-up visits, cleanings, adjustments, and hearing aid repairs.
- Maintain accurate and compliant patient records, including documentation and outcome measures.
- Deliver service that supports patient satisfaction, loyalty, and positive clinical outcomes.
- Collaborate with leadership and peers to support center performance and continuous improvement.
