Audiologist / Hearing Instrument Specialist
About The Position
Happy Ears Hearing Center is hiring full-time Audiologists/Hearing Healthcare Providers to serve its growing patient community. The practice provides comprehensive audiology services to patients of all ages and emphasizes high-quality care, best practices, patient experience, and a supportive team culture. The role involves diagnostic evaluations, treatment recommendations, dispensing and fitting hearing technology, counseling patients and families, and collaborating with the medical team. The clinic works with traditional hearing devices and cochlear implant technology and performs neurodiagnostic testing. Training and mentorship are available for clinicians interested in practicing across the full scope of audiology and developing specialty skills.
Requirements
- Doctor of Audiology (AuD) or Master’s Degree in Audiology, or BC-HIS certification.
- Current and unrestricted Arizona Audiology license, or eligibility for licensure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong clinical and counseling abilities.
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Commitment to exceptional patient care and best practices.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with cochlear implants, bone-anchored hearing systems, and tinnitus treatment is welcomed but not required.
- Preferred clinical skills include diagnostic audiology, hearing aid dispensing and verification, Real Ear Measurements, and patient counseling.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive audiologic evaluations.
- Dispense, program, and verify hearing aid fittings.
- Conduct Real Ear Verification testing.
- Provide patient and family counseling.
- Perform cognitive screenings when needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and company trainings.
