The Andrew Carnegie Foundation, originally established as Carnegie Corporation of New York, was founded in 1911 by Andrew Carnegie. Today, our funding supports the issues that Carnegie considered most important: education, democracy, and peace. Our grantmaking is grounded in Andrew Carnegie’s vision to do “real and permanent good in the world.” The Communications team is looking for an audience engagement assistant to help us reach new audiences and explore different channels and techniques. Reporting to the senior social media strategy lead, this role supports outreach and audience development, from social media initiatives to public relations activities. The assistant is responsible for developing and implementing a range of tactics for identifying and connecting with people and institutions who should know about Carnegie and our work.
