About The Position

Daytona Lagoon is seeking energetic, friendly, and safety-focused Attractions Attendants to help create exceptional guest experiences at its waterpark and family entertainment center. Attendants operate and monitor attractions, enforce safety rules, assist guests, and help maintain a clean and welcoming environment throughout the park. The role is suited to people who enjoy interacting with guests, can thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to outstanding customer service. Attendants assist at attractions such as go-karts, laser tag, mini golf, bumper cars, and rock climbing. They explain rules and safety procedures, monitor operations, help guests load and unload where applicable, and perform routine inspections. They also support park cleanliness and daily operations, communicate guest and safety concerns to leadership, and respond appropriately to emergencies. The position involves both indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions, direct guest interaction throughout the shift, and standing and walking for extended periods. Peak schedules include weekends, evenings, school breaks, and holidays. Attendants are expected to maintain a professional, friendly, and safety-focused attitude.

Nice To Haves

Previous customer service, hospitality, recreation, entertainment, or amusement industry experience.
Knowledge of family entertainment attractions such as go-karts, laser tag, mini golf, or bumper cars.

Responsibilities

Greet guests enthusiastically and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
Answer questions about attractions, policies, procedures, and park offerings.
Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
Assist guests at go-karts, laser tag, mini golf, bumper cars, rock climbing, and other family entertainment activities.
Explain attraction rules, requirements, and safety procedures before participation.
Monitor attraction operations and guest behavior to ensure compliance with safety rules and park guidelines.
Assist guests with loading and unloading where applicable.
Perform routine attraction inspections and report concerns, equipment malfunctions, and maintenance needs promptly.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and notify management of accidents, injuries, or operational concerns.
Maintain clean, organized, guest-ready attraction areas and assist with cleanliness in attraction zones, arcade areas, walkways, ponds, and common spaces.
Help keep attraction equipment and operating areas safe and functional.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support daily operations.
Assist with opening, closing, and daily operational procedures.
Communicate guest needs, safety concerns, and operational updates to leadership.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support a successful guest experience.
