Attending Physician- Post Acute Care
About The Position
Parker Jewish Institute for Healthcare and Rehabilitation in New Hyde Park, New York, is seeking a full-time Attending Physician to join its Medical Department. Working alongside experienced medical leadership, the physician delivers appropriate, adequate, compassionate, and quality medical care to Parker residents in coordination with other members of the health care team. Requirements
- Two or more years of experience as an Attending Physician in a hospital with a geriatric population or in a nursing home environment.
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- New York State board certification in a primary care specialty.
- Eligibility for hospital admitting privileges.
- Clean and active license to practice medicine in New York State.
- Proficiency in SigmaCare or similar electronic medical record software.
