About The Position

The Attendant works seasonally at Three Oaks Recreation Area, whose regular season runs from early April through October. Work hours depend on weather, with a goal of scheduling employees for 20–30 hours per week, generally in 6–7-hour shifts. Employees are required to work a portion of holiday weekends, including Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. Applicants must be at least 16 years old at the time of hire. Employment offers are subject to successful completion of a background check, physical, and drug screen. Applications are considered as received, and the position remains open until filled.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Successfully complete a background check, physical, and drug screen as a condition of an employment offer.
• Work a portion of holiday weekends, including Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a cash-handling retail or customer service position.
• A background operating watercraft.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons at the parking gate and swim beach entrances.
• Support scuba zone operations.
• Handle boat rental activities in the marina.
• Collect user fees and provide site-specific information.
• Help maintain park readiness and cleanliness.
• Provide patrons with boat rentals and explain safety protocols.
