About The Position
The At Your Service Associate supports Macy’s At Your Service activities and helps deliver a seamless, personalized shopping experience. Tasks include Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, curbside delivery, and other assigned responsibilities while upholding Macy’s service standards. The position requires multitasking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset in a fast-paced retail environment. Associates welcome and assist customers with genuine hospitality, support total-store fulfillment, use the systems needed to complete transactions, and keep pickup and return areas organized, clean, and inviting. They help customers understand loyalty benefits, work toward sales goals, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. Schedules include weekend shifts and may involve days, evenings, nights, and holidays, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Ability to make prompt, sound decisions in real time to address customer needs and resolve issues.

Responsibilities
- Support At Your Service activities, including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks.
- Assist customers with total-store fulfillment and complete transactions using the required systems.
- Ensure the collection area is organized and provide a friction-free customer pickup experience.
- Complete BOPS orders and curbside delivery in a timely manner.
- Recover merchandise and keep pickup and return areas clean, organized, and shoppable.
- Welcome customers, build relationships through friendly conversations, and provide genuine hospitality.
- Share loyalty program benefits and help acquire new customers by opening credit accounts.
- Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions, and work toward sales goals.
- Collaborate with and support colleagues to serve customers and communities.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping space.
