About The Position
As an At Your Service Center Colleague, you support a seamless, personalized shopping experience by handling Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, curbside delivery, and other assigned tasks while upholding Macy’s service standards. The role calls for multitasking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset in a fast-paced environment. You help customers, support sales and loyalty goals, work collaboratively with colleagues, and keep the shopping and service areas clean, organized, and inviting. The role includes a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Ability to make prompt, sound decisions to address customer needs and resolve issues.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.
- Enjoyment of meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.

- Ability to frequently use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, personalized service in the At Your Service area.
- Support total store fulfillment, including Buy Online Pickup In Store orders, merchandise returns, and order pickups.
- Use the systems and equipment needed to complete transactions.
- Keep the customer collection, pickup, return, and shopping areas clean, organized, and ready for customers.
- Complete BOPS orders and curbside deliveries in a timely manner.
- Recover merchandise and maintain a shoppable space.
- Share loyalty program benefits, help acquire customers by opening credit accounts, and work toward sales goals.
- Stay informed about sales goals, new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to individual and store results.
