About The Position

As an At Your Service Center Colleague, you support a seamless, personalized shopping experience by assisting with Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks while upholding Macy’s service standards. The role calls for multitasking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset in a fast-paced environment. You help customers, support sales and loyalty goals, collaborate with teammates, and maintain a clean, organized, inviting shopping and service area. Seasonal role at City Creek Center.

Requirements

• Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays; schedules include weekend shifts.
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
• Ability to make prompt, sound decisions to address customer needs and resolve issues.
• Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges and acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.

• Ability to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands; stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.

• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with total store fulfillment, including Buy Online Pickup In Store orders, returns, order pickups, and other At Your Service activities.
• Use the systems needed to complete transactions and help ensure the customer pickup area is organized and the pickup experience is friction-free.
• Complete BOPS orders and curbside delivery in a timely manner.
• Recover merchandise and keep pickup and return areas clean, organized, and shoppable.
• Welcome customers with genuine hospitality, build relationships through friendly conversations, and provide personalized assistance.
• Share loyalty program benefits, help acquire new customers by opening credit accounts, and work toward daily sales goals.
• Keep informed about sales goals, new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
• Support teammates through honest, caring collaboration and contribute to individual and store results.
• Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
