Seasonal Retail At Your Service Associate, Pentagon City
About The Position
The At Your Service Associate supports a seamless, personalized shopping experience by handling Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks while upholding Macy’s service standards. The role calls for multitasking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset in a fast-paced environment. Associates may work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Associates welcome customers with genuine hospitality, help with total-store fulfillment, use the systems needed to complete transactions, and keep pickup and return areas organized. They help maintain a clean, shoppable space, complete BOPS orders and curbside deliveries in a timely manner, share loyalty-program benefits, and support sales goals and team results. The position also includes helping keep the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting.
Requirements
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Ability to make prompt, sound decisions to address customer needs and resolve issues.

Responsibilities
- Support At Your Service activities, including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks.
- Welcome and assist customers with genuine hospitality, building positive customer relationships.
- Support total-store fulfillment and complete transactions using the required systems.
- Keep the At Your Service, pickup, and return areas clean, organized, and ready for customers.
- Complete BOPS orders and curbside deliveries in a timely manner.
- Recover merchandise and maintain a clean, shoppable space.
- Share loyalty-program benefits and help acquire customers by opening credit accounts.
- Work toward daily sales goals and contribute to individual and store results.
- Collaborate with teammates and support one another in serving customers and communities.
- Stay informed about sales goals, new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
