About The Position
Earlysville Animal Hospital in Earlysville, Virginia, is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its compassionate and collaborative team. The practice primarily seeks an experienced veterinarian but may consider a motivated new graduate. Mentorship opportunities include shadowing experienced doctors, extended appointment times, and one-on-one surgical training. Full-time veterinarians typically work three to four days per week, with rotating Saturdays and no after-hours or on-call requirements. Experience and a strong interest in soft tissue surgery are highly preferred; the hospital is seeking a veterinarian who is confident performing surgical procedures and eager to further develop its surgical services. The well-established, six-doctor small animal practice is located minutes from Charlottesville. Its recently renovated hospital includes six exam rooms, a dedicated surgical suite, and a large treatment area. Medical resources include digital radiography and dental radiography, ultrasound, therapeutic and surgical lasers, and acupuncture services. The team includes four Licensed Veterinary Technicians, five veterinary assistants, and Fear Free-trained support staff. The team emphasizes exceptional veterinary care and a positive, collaborative work environment. Continued learning is encouraged through regular lunch-and-learns, team meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Veterinary experience is preferred; motivated new graduates may be considered.
