Associate Veterinarian - East and West Ridge Animal Hospitals (Klamath Falls, OR)
About The Position
East and West Ridge Animal Hospitals are seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join their growing team in Klamath Falls, Oregon. This position will primarily be based at East Ridge Animal Hospital, with occasional coverage at their sister location, West Ridge Animal Hospital. This role is suitable for experienced veterinarians looking to expand their skills or new graduates seeking mentorship and support, offering a chance to build a rewarding career while enjoying the flexibility and work-life balance of Southern Oregon. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine, or equivalent certification for international graduates.
- Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE).
- Active Oregon veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date.
Nice To Haves
- Experience utilizing digital radiography, dental radiography, and in-house diagnostics.
- Experience in small animal general practice, urgent care, or companion animal medicine.
- Interest in exotics, surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, or ultrasound.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach to medicine.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive veterinary care for dogs, cats, pocket pets, and exotic animals.
- Perform preventive and wellness care.
- Conduct companion animal medicine.
- Perform surgery.

- Handle internal medicine cases.
