About The Position

As an Inside Sales Engineer in the Electric Heat Trace Division, you will serve as a liaison between customers and the organization, resolving customer concerns and developing engineered solutions. You will understand customer applications, prepare and provide technical proposals, and develop cost-effective solutions for unique heat trace and control applications. The role supports customer satisfaction before and after orders are placed while contributing to sales growth.

Requirements

Fluent written and spoken English.
Excellent customer-facing skills, including training, coaching, discussion management, conflict resolution, and the ability to explain and present complex concepts creatively.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate confidently and concisely in verbal, written, and presentation formats to varied audiences.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering is preferred; other degrees are considered.
Working experience with Microsoft Office programs is a plus.
Experience with languages other than English is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide efficient and profitable solutions for customers and the business; identify competitive solutions and review pricing options through the proper channels.
Maintain proficiency in business systems, product lines, and underlying engineering principles.
Drive sales growth and follow up with customers on quotes.
Enter orders accurately while adhering to policies, pricing guidelines, and published lead times.
Promptly follow up on assigned sales leads.
Process customer material return requests.
Answer customer inquiries efficiently and accurately while providing world-class customer service.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize customer applications and resolve customer concerns efficiently.
Escalate concerns about business at risk.
Verify contract information on customer purchase orders and confirm the organization can meet the specified requirements.
Ensure product requirements are clearly defined when orders are placed.
