About The Position
Northrop Grumman is hiring an Associate Software Engineer for its Space sector in Boulder, Colorado. The successful candidate will join the Software and Controls Engineering team and work on software supporting government, civil, and commercial space customers. The role involves designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging application software and systems that include logical and mathematical solutions. It may also involve multidisciplinary research and collaboration with equipment designers and hardware engineers on the planning, design, development, and use of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Travel is 10% of the time. Relocation assistance may be available. A clearance is not required to start, but the candidate must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance and Special Access Program access within a reasonable period as determined by the company.
Requirements
- Be completing or have completed a degree from an accredited institution: bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D.
- Major in or have majored in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Be able to obtain Special Access Program access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

- Overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher.
Responsibilities
