About The Position

The Staff Pad is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Associate Recruiter to support its recruiting team. The role is designed for people interested in building a career in recruiting and talent acquisition. The Associate Recruiter sources, screens, and qualifies candidates across a variety of positions, builds candidate pipelines, and helps ensure that well-qualified candidates are presented to clients. The position includes hands-on training, structured development, and a potential path to a full-cycle recruiting role.

This is a full-time, fully remote position. The role works with recruiting tools and an applicant tracking system, supports candidate and recruiter communication, and contributes to client hiring success. High-performing Associate Recruiters may advance into full-cycle recruiting positions, managing client relationships and the hiring process from intake to placement.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of similar professional experience.
• Strong interest in recruiting, sales, or talent acquisition.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivation, urgency, and accountability.
• Comfort working with technology, recruiting tools, and people.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with sourcing platforms.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or CRM tools.
• Previous experience in client-facing, sales, or administrative roles.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify candidates using job boards, social media, and other sourcing tools.
• Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and fit.
• Evaluate candidates against job requirements and determine their alignment for submission.
• Present qualified candidates with clear, concise, professional summaries.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Coordinate interviews and support communication between candidates and recruiters.
• Follow up proactively with candidates throughout the recruiting process.
• Stay informed about market trends, talent availability, and competitive hiring activity.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing development initiatives.
