About The Position

Verkada's Pricing & Commercial Operations team is seeking a new Associate to join their expanding team. This role is highly impactful and cross-functional, collaborating with Sales, Sales Ops, Finance, and Product to develop and implement pricing strategies and execution processes. The team is establishing a Deal Desk to expedite revenue growth while achieving margin targets. This position offers broad responsibilities and significant exposure to company-wide operations and executive leadership.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a business-oriented function.
Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a similar quantitative field.
Strong quantitative capabilities, with the ability to engage at both portfolio and deal levels.
Willingness to actively participate and analyze data.
Ability to collaborate with and influence Sales, Product Management, and Executive teams.

Nice To Haves

Experience selling or pricing enterprise products is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Balance revenue versus margin goals for the company across various products, channels, segments, and geographies.
Develop scalable processes and high-performance teams to manage diverse deal types, from multi-million dollar global deals to smaller/midsize ones.
Ensure global sales teams can operate efficiently and customize solutions for customers and partners.
Review discount approval requests and analyze competitive dynamics on a deal-by-deal basis to maximize gross margin.
Increase total revenue by monitoring the success and engagement of sales incentive programs.
Drive independent projects to identify revenue/margin opportunities and then scale these initiatives.
