Position Purpose: Help us convert insight into outcomes. Use analytics to identify where we can improve cost or price, collaborate with sales to ground decisions in market reality, and guide confident moves that grow margin and market share.

Requirements

  • Experience in pricing, finance, or sales in distribution, manufacturing, or B2B (typically 2–5+ years).
  • Strong analytical chops; comfortable with large datasets and turning findings into practical choices for non-analysts.
  • Collaborative communicator who enjoys partnering with sales, vendors, and leadership.
  • Electrical distribution exposure; vendor programs/rebates and SPA structuring.
  • Familiarity with Profit21 (or equivalent ERP) and a BI stack; basic SQL

Responsibilities

  • Analyze trends in pricing, win/loss, cost changes, and product mix to highlight where SPAs can improve our cost position and where sell-price step-ups are likely to hold.
  • Work with account managers to validate price targets against market/segment context and provide clear, customer-ready options in active opportunities.
  • Capture what works in lightweight playbooks—price ranges by segment/product, SPA triggers, and exception guidelines—that keep quoting fast, confident, and profitable.
  • Track outcomes of recommendations and promotions; report on margin lift, override reduction, and conversion effects to inform the next iteration.
  • Recommend tweaks to pricing workflows, approvals, and tools to reduce friction while protecting margin quality.
