About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join its National Branch in Tucson, Arizona. In this frontline role, the banker builds customer relationships by supporting everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The role involves understanding customers’ goals and connecting them with appropriate banking products, services, and digital tools to help them manage their finances. The Associate Personal Banker supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications while working with branch teammates to provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. The role combines relationship building and growth activities with accurate, compliant service, cash handling, and sound judgment within established risk controls. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The position is based at 8951 E Taque Verde Rd., Tucson, AZ 85749. The schedule includes Saturdays. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the employee’s start date. Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background. A credit report may be reviewed, excluding the credit score, and additional ongoing screening may apply. The position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer needs and connect them with relevant banking products, services, and solutions.
Identify opportunities, promote solutions, and make appropriate referrals to meet customer and business goals.
Support everyday banking needs, including new account openings, service requests, and credit applications.
Perform cash handling and teller line activities, processing transactions accurately while maintaining compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience and support evolving banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Collaborate with branch teammates to coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists so customers are connected to appropriate expertise.
Support branch operations by flexing between cash handling and customer banking activities, including account openings and ongoing account support.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues appropriately and make sound risk decisions.
