About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join its National Branch at the Golf Links & Kolb Branch in Tucson, Arizona. This frontline position builds customer relationships through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ goals and connects them with suitable banking products, services, and digital tools. The role supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications, and collaborates with branch teammates to provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Strong relationship-building, sound judgment, and balancing service with growth are important to success. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The position supports branch operations by flexing between cash handling and customer banking activities, with an emphasis on service through account openings and ongoing account support. The schedule includes Saturdays. SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the employee’s start date. Loan originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies regarding financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background. A credit report may be reviewed, excluding the credit score, and additional ongoing screening may apply. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date.
Loan originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.

Responsibilities

Conduct discovery-driven conversations to understand customer needs and connect them with relevant banking products, services, and solutions.
Identify opportunities, promote solutions, and make appropriate referrals to meet customer and business goals.
Support everyday banking needs, including new account openings, service requests, and credit applications.
Handle cash and perform teller-line activities, accurately processing transactions while maintaining compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance customer experience and support evolving banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Collaborate with branch teammates and coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities to support branch operations.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues as appropriate.
