About The Position

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, solutions-driven People & Culture Operations Associate to help power the day-to-day employee experience across our organization. This is a highly operational role focused on delivering seamless onboarding, supporting employees in the field and corporate teams, and ensuring our systems, data, and processes run smoothly. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in HR operations, People Operations, or administrative roles
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume, process-driven work
  • Experience working across multiple HR systems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work across field and corporate populations
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
  • Understanding of HR compliance requirements
  • Experience improving or documenting operational processes

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting construction, field, or distributed workforce populations is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-volume onboarding for both craft/field and corporate hires
  • Manage new hire setup across systems (HRIS, onboarding tools, timekeeping, project systems)
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics with hiring managers and IT
  • Process employee changes including rehires, terminations, and status updates
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data, including direct deposits, address updates, and tax documentation
  • Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems
  • Support timekeeping and system troubleshooting
  • Support compliance reporting and audits
  • Maintain personnel files and ensure I-9 documentation is compliant and audit-ready
  • Identify and improve inefficient or manual processes
  • Process weekly sick time submissions and ensure accuracy
  • Handle employment verifications and related documentation
  • Coordinate benefits administration activities, including invoice tracking and payment support with vendors and internal partners
  • Perform weekly audits of benefits enrollments to ensure accuracy and alignment with payroll deductions
  • Partner with payroll to quickly resolve discrepancies between benefits elections and deductions
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits questions, providing clear, timely support
  • Support new hire enrollments and life event changes
  • Support leave of absence processes, including: Partnering with the leave administration vendor to manage requests, Guiding employees through the submission process and ensuring timely completion, Responding to employee questions regarding leave policies, eligibility, and status, Coordinating with payroll to ensure accurate pay and deductions during leave periods
