About the position
We are seeking a motivated Associate Manager to join our Merchant Quality Strategy & Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for improving core quality metrics by conducting data-driven experiments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing strategic solutions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Merchants, Dashers, and internal data to identify areas for improvement and drive operational enhancements. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to logistics, merchant operations, product development, and strategy within our organization.
Responsibilities
- Use data-driven decision-making to run and scale experiments on improving quality metrics
- Visit Merchants, talk to Dashers, and review internal data to develop hypotheses for improving operations
- Test hypotheses in-market through hacky experiments and scale successful solutions
- Work with cross-functional teams to bring projects to life
- Engage and cultivate relationships with Merchants to understand their needs and identify strategic improvements
- Operate at the lowest level of detail to understand the impact of decisions and iterate based on data insights
- Use a first principles approach to problem-solving and take action to create future solutions
- Utilize analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL, to extract valuable insights
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
- Thrive in a cross-functional environment and successfully lead projects across teams
- Have 4+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, technology, or related fields
- Support and contribute to a diverse and inclusive community within the company

- Thrive in a cross-functional environment and have experience leading projects across teams
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, technology, or related field.
