About The Position

This is a continuous recruitment posting for Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer positions within the School of Health Sciences and Wellness at UW-Stevens Point. Applications are accepted to build a pool of candidates for future part-time opportunities. Successful applicants will be considered for future needs, and their application will be kept on file. Teaching assignments are on a per-course basis each semester and do not guarantee future employment. Teaching loads range from 1-12 credits per semester. While the position is listed as on-site, partially remote opportunities may be available.

Requirements

• Master’s degree
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Effective team member

Nice To Haves

• Clinical or academic doctorate degree in a field related to health sciences and wellness
• Academic course teaching experience

Responsibilities

• Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
• Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
