About The Position
This is a continuous recruitment posting for Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer positions within the Food and Nutrition Program at the School of Health Sciences and Wellness at UW-Stevens Point. Applications are accepted to build a pool of candidates for future part-time opportunities. Successful applicants will be considered for roles on a per-course basis each semester. Teaching one semester does not guarantee assignment in the following semester. The teaching load can range from 1-12 credits per semester. While the position is listed as on-site, partially remote opportunities may be available.
Requirements
- Registered dietitian nutritionist with a master’s degree and significant recent experience in clinical nutrition from diverse areas of practice.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities
- Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
- Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
- Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
